Valerie Herman-  I just got an update from my coworker whose Mom, Ruth King, has been on VMCC’s prayer list for several months now.  She has lung cancer and has been going through chemo.  They thought the chemo wasn’t going to shrink the tumors, just keep them from growing.  Well, yesterday she got the results of the CT scan and PRAISE GOD the cancer is GONE in the lymph nodes & adrenal glands.  The pulmonary embolism is also GONE and the primary tumor that was the size of a golf ball is now the size of a penny!  Ruth was ready to give up because she’s been feeling so bad and thought the chemo wasn’t working.  If the CT results weren’t good, she was going to stop treatment. And the best part of all this……my coworker, Lori, who questioned the power of prayer now says she wholeheartedly believes in the power of prayer!  Praise God and thank you all for your continued prayers!  God is GOOD!

Andy Ginter-Angie and the rest of her office staff as they transition into work without their founding partner – Mr. Walker as he has passed away.  Also pray for Mr. Walker’s wife of 62 years – Ruth Walker as she adjusts as well.

 

Paula Ground- (from one of my trainers in Clark County)   Andrea Young accidently backed over her daughter this afternoon. Ava is 17  months old. All we know at this time is that her husband John had  both children on the porch as she was leaving, somehow she ran out behind Andrea's vehicle and Andrea did not see her.  Ava is being airlifted to either Lexington or Knoxville.  I am asking everyone to ask for God's graces on this family. I can only image the terror that they are feeling right now.
